Harshbarger, David A., 90, of McVeytow, PA, died July 18, 1999, at the Lewistown Hospital. Born Sept. 14, 1908, in Mattawana, PA to Joshua K. and Sarah E. (Miller) Harshbarger. He was a member of the Mattawana Mennonite Church, where he was a member of the Men's Bible Sunday school and was a former Sunday school teacher.

Survived by a sister, Bertha A. Yoder, McVeytown RR2; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth E. Miller, Louella M. Harshbarger, and an infant sister; a half brother and half sister.

Funeral service was July 21, 1999 at the Mattawana Mennonite Church, with the Rev. M. Leon Yoder officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana, PA

Hege, Earl Jacob, 48, of Chambersburg, PA, died Nov. 2, 1999, at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. He was born Nov. 23, 1950, in Dayton, Va., to Paul and Catherine Heatwole Hege. He was a member of Culbertson Mennonite Church of Chambersburg.

Survived by his wife, Lucy Good Hostetter Hege, whom he married Nov. 27, 1971; four daughters, Anna Miller of Chambersburg, Sara Hege, Dorcas Hege and Martha Hege, all at home; five sons, Reuben Hege of Shippensburg, Pa., Simeon Hege and Joel Hege, both of Chambersburg, and Jason Hege and James Hege, both at home; four sisters, Esther Rodes of Virginia, Freda King of Myerstown, Pa., Martha Steiner of Wisconsin and Mary Coblentz of Ohio; three brothers, Harold Hege of Cambridge Springs, Pa., Marlin Hege of Keymar, Md., and Luke Hege of East Berlin, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Service was Nov 5, 1999 at Culbertson Mennonite Church in Chambersburg. Isaac K. Sensenig, H. Lynn Martin, Wayne L. Shank and LaRay P. Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Culbertson Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Hostetler, Wilbur M.
March 28, 1915-Oct. 13, 1999

Services for Wilbur M Hostetler, 84, 1704 College Ave., who died Wednesday, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in North Goshen Mennonite Church. The Rev. Ark IF, Smoker will conduct the service. Burial will be in Shore Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the church.

He was born March 28, 1915, in Elkhart County, to John F. and Clara (Miller) Hostetler. On June 26, 1937, in Leo, he married Velma Leichty.

He was a cabinetmaker and member of North Goshen Mennonite Church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Carolyn (Mrs. Don) Bauman, Colorado Springs; a son, M. Wayne, Lakewood, Colo.; four grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Delsie (Mrs. Roy) Hooley, Shipshewana.

A daughter, Geraldine Sue Hostetler, died in 1951. Two sisters preceded him in death, Catherine Miller, who died in June 1996, and Jennie Yoder. A brother, Charles, also preceded him in death.

Memorials may be directed to North Goshen Mennonite Church or Mennonite Overseas Mission.
